Video Guidelines
A short video of all production techniques, including animation or other types of experimental work can be submitted.
Submission can be done in English or Gaelige.
Videos should have a maximum length of 3 minutes, including credits.
Participants can use small clips from the song Leave no Trace by Naomi Berrill.
Videos can be submitted in the following formats: MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, WebM, or FLV.
Videos should have one of the following resolutions: standard definition (SD), high definition (HD), full HD (FHD), 2K, 4K, or 8K.
Video compression can be performed using Vimeo, Google or specific software.
Inappropriate or offensive language and images will result in immediate disqualification.
Videos must not include any logo and must not infringe upon any copyright rules or regulations.
Eligibility Requirements
Each team can have up to a maximum three participants, supported by a teacher/supervisor.
Participants must be 15 to 18 years old (inclusive), from transition year, or senior cycle (fifth and sixth years).
Each participant who is a minor must have a legal parent/guardian fill out the parental consent form. Not filling in the parental consent form results in immediate disqualification.
One member from each group must fill out the online submission form and submit the video through this portal.
Each team can submit a maximum of three videos, one for each theme (biodiversity loss, climate change and ocean pollution).
The videos must always be backed-up by an Irish legal entity (e.g. school, association or club).
Only videos that follow these specific guidelines, submitted within the deadline, with all supporting documents will be considered eligible for awards.
